  • Joint problems/pain
  • Ligament problems
  • Muscle injuries

Flu 2019

By the end of August 2019 we will have invited all eligible adults to attend for the flu vaccine. Please contact us to book your appointment once you have received your invite.

Zero Tolerance

We have noticed an increase in aggressive incidents towards our staff. We are here to help and aim to be as polite and helpful as possible even at difficult times. Any form of abusive or aggressive behaviour towards our staff, or any or our patients, will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Patients who are abusive may be asked to leave and could be removed from our patient list.

Evening and Weekend Appointments at other BaNES Surgeries

Evening and weekend appointments are available at a different practice. Please ask reception about this additional appointment availability which is currently available to book by telephone or in person at the practice. As well as GP appointments this service includes Nurse appointments for smear tests, blood tests (provided already arranged by your GP) and routine dressings. This Improving Access service should prove very helpful for patients who work and is provided by BEMS.

Fax Machine

We no longer use a fax machine. Local pharmacies and hospitals can email BSCCG.fairfieldpark@nhs.net If you are a patient with a medical mater please ring and speak to reception.

Telephony System

We have recently installed a new telephone system that advises your position in the queue for appointments (option 3) and queries (option 4). Please note calls may be recorded for training and monitoring purposes.

Referral Letters

Referral letters need to be collected from the Practice and you will receive a text message to inform you when the letter is ready to be collected. The exception to this will be students at Bath Spa University where we will post the referral.

24 Hour Telephone Booking Ceasing 28th September 2019

The 24 hour Patient Partner booking system will become obsolete on 28th September 2019. If you currently use this to book appointments, please ask at reception about online access so that you can continue to book routine GP appointments without needing to contact the surgery directly.
