The Practice has been selected to host fully qualified doctors who are following a course of training leading to qualification as General Practitioners, known as GP Registrars. Patients are invited to accept these doctors on an equal basis with the Partners.
Our Clinical Pharmacist advises doctors at the surgery with prescribing queries, carries out medication reviews and addresses patient safety issues. She also undertakes annual reviews for people with Cardiovascular disease (CVD) and Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) with the advanced training to prescribe new medications as required. Our Pharmacy Technicians supports the Clinical Pharmacist with administering medication queries and changes.
The East Team Midwives hold clinics twice a week at the surgery. The team can be contacted on 01225 824669.
District nurses provide skilled nursing care, advice, support and equipment to enable patients to remain at home or to return home from hospital.
Our team of district nurses will visit you at home if you are housebound, meaning you are unable to leave home. If you require transport to get to the surgery, please contact the Community Wellbeing Hub on 300 247 0050. Lines are open 9am-5pm Monday-Friday or email BATHNES.firstname.lastname@example.org
District nurses are available seven days a week between 08:30 to 17:00. To contact them please call the surgery on 01225 331616 and a message will be passed on. Please note the surgery telephone lines are closed during the weekend.
Health Visitor is a nurse with additional training in preventative medicine, health promotion and social advice. Health Visitors visit patients at home to talk in private as well as offering a service and clinics at the doctor's surgery. Health Visitors also link with other agencies to obtain the help that patients require.

The health visitors are available on weekdays only. To contact them call 01225 831829. If there is no reply, leave a message and your call will be returned as soon as possible. The health visitors will carry out developmental assessments if a need is identified.
